Amy Schulz is the Sr. Director of Global Procurement for Hallmark Cards, Inc. responsible for leading the Indirect Global Procurement organization since 2018.
Previously, Amy held a leadership role in Global Procurement/Sourcing for Sprint/T-Mobile. During her tenure of over 13 years, she launched the Contracts Team while leading complex IT software, Staff Augmentation & Managed Services negotiations; Merger & Acquisitions; Special Initiatives; and Lean Process Improvement efforts.
Amy developed her leadership and legal skills for a private Risk Retention and Insurance Company as the Director of Legal Affairs for over five years while managing internal staff and outsourced legal counsel across North America. Prior to that she worked in management and procurement for five years at a state university where she oversaw special events and diverse staff of forty.
Amy currently advises and oversees a team of 10 Buyers. She is responsible for the procurement, contracting, and negotiations for:
• Technology Acquisitions (software/hardware/hosting)
• Technical Services (managed services, staff augmentation, implementation services)
• Non-Technical Services (consulting engagements, contingent labor)
• Indirect Supply Chain (MRO, Capitol Equipment, & Facilities)
As a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership, Amy advises key stakeholders and advances major strategic initiatives for Hallmark and its Global Affiliates such as: ERP & Cost Transformation, Sustainability & Green Initiatives, DE&I, AI/Digital, and multiple COEs/COPs.
